I'm Dr. Eva Chiang, the lead faculty and director for the online Master of Public Policy program at Southern Methodist University (SMU). In my role, I oversee curriculum design and delivery, as well as student onboarding and support. My passion lies in connecting academic insights with real world policy applications. I also consult on policy and program evaluation and strategy.

With a deep commitment to education and policy, my career has spanned roles as an educator, administrator, and researcher. Prior to my current position at SMU, I served as the Managing Director of Leadership and Programming at the George W. Bush Institute. There, I led efforts to measure the impact of domestic and international programs and conducted research to inform policy and practice. I also led leadership programs.
